Coastal Destruction

...........The coast of Mississippi was pounded by Hurricane Katrina. High winds and a twenty foot tidal surge destroyed all most everything on the coast for miles. Million dollar homes were wiped off their foundations and became part of the tons of debris spread everywhere. The floating Casinos on the coast where ripped off their moorings and push upland crushing a buildings and homes. One casino crushed a hotel and killed 10 people inside that were riding out the storm.

.........Nothing would prepare me for what I saw, the entire coast was was destroyed and for miles homes and businesses were gone. Entire neighborhoods were turned into rubble and piles of broken wood made mountains of debris were homes once were.

I documented one man whose house was totally destroyed and he lost everything.
