.....,.. Famous for its Lakes Minnesota has well over a thousand lakes and is called the land of a thousand lakes. Located in the northern part of the midwest Minnesota can be quite cold in the winter months and the temperatures can go as low as minus 30 degs.

........There are many wonderful communities through out Minnesota, Duluth for example has a great port and is known through out the world. The twin cities Saint Paul and Minneapolis have a great history. Way up north towns such as International Falls and Ely are home to many diverse and interesting people.
