......... Florida is the located in the south east of the United States. Its a warm, sunny place and can rain quite a bit. Florida is a large state and has the Atlantic ocean on the east side and the gulf of mexico on the west. From the Florida pan handle in the northern part and south to the keys Florida is one of the most divers places in the United States. The west coast of Florida has Over 800 hundred miles of shoreline on the gulf of Mexico. Some of the towns located on the west are Pensacola, St. Petersburg, Sarasota.
...... .The drive from Jacksonville to Miami on 95 is a bit boring so if you stop at Daytona, West Palm beach, Fort Lauderdale along the way you'll find something to do. I have traveled to many different places in Florida such as Daytona, Miami, Sarasota and down to the Keys.
...........I stopped in Dayton Beach for the annual event called Bike Week. Over three hundred thousand people (disguised as bikers) descend on the local town for ten days in March to ride their Motorcycles and enjoy the many different events. I produced a documentary film about Bike Week and below are links to Video clips.

..........In Sarasota an interesting place that I visited was the Pelican Man's Bird Sanctuary. Dale Shelds founded this rescue and rehabilitation center in the early nineteen eighties. He found a hurt Brown Pelican and no government agencies would help because it was a wild bird, So Dale and his wife rehabilitated that bird and hundred of others. This was the start of what would be the largest Wildlife rehabilitation center in Florida.
