Bike Week is a world famous Motor Cycle Rally in Daytona Beach, Florida
......... For
ten days in March over three hundred thousand motorcycle fans flood the
town of Daytona Beach and the surrounding area. Bike Week is famous for
its unusual events. Bars, campgrounds and stadiums have unusual events
to attract people. some of the crazy events are the Bar Stool races at the Last Resort Bar, Motorcycle Demolition durby
at the New Symerna Speedway and the all time favorite women's coleslaw wrestling at the Cabbage Patch
Inn. There are many more events going on all over the area so if you missed some you have to come back next year.

Street in Daytona Beach is a central place where you can show off your bike or just come and look.The
street is lined with motorcycles and its a loud and exciting
place. A walk down main street in quite an experience. Thousands of custom motorcycles cruise up and down to show
off. For the ten days of Bike Week you can only park motorcycles on Main Street, so if you have a car you have to park somewhere ells. There are many bars and shops that cater to this event and Harley Davidson Fans. Hundreds of venders show up to sell all different types of goods, like leather jackets, T- shirts, helmets etc., like my

......... Bike Week started around 1930 when motorcycle racing
on the beach became popular and thousands of people showed up for the
races. The town was filled with racing enthusiasts and it grew into one big
party ! Bike Week began. The Beach Racing move to the newly constructed .Daytona
Speedway in the early 60's,
but the parties stayed on the beach and surrounding 12 mile area.
........ ..Daytona
Speedway has motorcycle racing and qualifying events for the ten days of Bike
Week. The Dayton 200 is this last race during the Bike Week event and is the Super bowl
of motorcycle races...
